"The doctor? Oh, she's great. Just a little... insane."
The long spiral known as Nephthys is the clan doctor. Coming from the land of disease, she has seen diseases and injuries and has learned to prevent and treat some of the worst afflictions attainable to dragonkind. Though she prefers to work in her specified lair, Nephthys often travels with the warriors of the clan, healing and treating post-battle injuries. She is no true gladiator herself, but her sickly plague magic can surely cause an enemy distress. Nephthys, though a qualified and recommended doctor, is often described as crazy... or mad, insane, superstitious, or irrational. Even for a spiral, her attention span seems quite small when not engrossed in surgery or treatment. She was born on a day of bad luck and superstition. Though the correlation between her mindset or personality could be explained otherwise, the general consensus is that since she was born on such a superstitious day, she was cursed a life of "perpetual insaneness." Even so, Nephthys herself is superstitious. Though it's unknown whether or not she agrees with the theory of her "insanity," she certainly does like to wonder into the realms of superstition and mystic arts. Dragonkind is no stranger to of any sorts. Jinxes, hexes, spells and transfiguration have all been explored, but even in the world of the Sornieth there are types of magic believed and practiced only by a handful. She does not believe in many of the radical ideas of this superstitious group, but practices the magic herself. Many believe she is foolish for believing in such a thing, and when people ask, she can only say, "This magic is indescribable. If you wish to see it, you must believe in it at first."
