Like her grandfather before her, she has a hovering presence that makes the others feel as though they are being watched. Some say she brought with her a dark spirit, others think its just her and the way she carries herself. Those that fear her, have a right to. Her shadow likes to move of its own free will and tends to bite those that get a bit to close.

The only familiar brave enough to get close is Hati, who became quite loyal to Umbra. Who was named for her dark colored scales and feathers, while far from the first she is the only one who tends to give some of the others the shivers. Many have questioned the Clan leaders choice in letting the young Skydancer stay, they merely just stay out of her way.

As she grew and the shadow became stronger, it showed more and more on her body and wings. Swirls of dark markings covered her arms and legs, while slowly appeared on her outer wings. Covering her gene markings, she traded in her more loose clothing and jewelry for a large cloak to cover herself due to the light of day burning her eyes and she became a dragon of the night.
