One of the Queen's personal assassins. Sercelinde is soft-spoken, observant and dispassionately professional. She takes quiet pride in a job well done, with a detachment from her victims that is more than a little unsettling - but the rule has always been 'kill or be killed', and her strong thirst for survival ensures that she always comes out on top. What she struggled through in her past, she doesn't say, but her focused demeanor suggests that it was her will to live that carried her through.

Like most Plague dragons, Sercelinde is infected with a strange and experimental disease. Though it doesn't seem to pain her, the effect is striking - her blood clots much faster than those of other dragons, drying out and forming strange patterns on her skin in a matter of seconds. Those who try to strike her find that blows bounce off this odd biological armour, and it's rare that they get a chance to try again, since by the time they've recovered from the shock Sercelinde has kicked their stomach into their spine.

Sercelinde is unable to read or write and must be instructed verbally. In her line of work, this isn't much of a handicap, and she leaves the plundering of any important documents from cooling victims to Seregon.
