✘✘✘ A lone egg was found while the Horde was traveling through the Shifting Expanse, specifically so Nova could gather some supplies from her homeland and visit with her friends. This egg was very strange - it was clearly a Nature egg with sprouts coming from the top with tiny blue flowers, but there was strange markings on the outside that any Nature member of the Horde had never seen on an egg before, but Nova knew exactly what they looked like. This egg had clearly been struck by lightning, leaving vein-like markings all over the bottom-half of the egg. Nova decided to take the egg home, just in case anything disastrous hatched (she hoped!)

A few days after the egg had been brought back to Nova's laboratory and placed into her incubator the little one began to emerge. Peeping out into the world was a little tundra girl, her glowing emerald eyes a stark contrast to her blue-colored fur. A clear mark had been left upon this dragon from the lightning, her navy fur blotched with neon aqua blue markings and her entire belly left a shimmering seafoam. Nova found a very fitting name for her - Elysia - and soon began teaching her, filling her little mind with knowledge about science and electricity. Elysia grew very quickly, twice as fast as any other hatchling Nova ever studied. Elysia was given the option to leave the Horde as soon as she could speak and she happily refused, sticking by Nova's side, continuing to learn and help Nova in the lab. Nova loves having the extra company and someone as interested in science as herself, and Elysia doesn't mind being a guinea pig when Nova wants to test a new gadget or concoction she's created.
