Albus
Wanderer
One who's searching for what is lost An Empty Tome... Lost. What remains of Albus' memory is naught but a bizarre, dark jumble of ghosts, both of beings he remembers, and those his conscious invented. However, even little of life itself is actually committed to memory. Everything before joining the Clan is just a thick blur, only fleeting moments of anything recallable. Some of those memories might have been vital, but to be truthful, he can't say they are. Found. During his search for one who may aid him, Albus stumbled upon the Eldrians. Something about the clan just seemed to click; a fleeting moment recalled just then, far in the back of his mind. Here was where he belonged, he decided, finding a place in the group. Soon enough, his hunch had proved right. He learned they could help him regain his memory, but the way was lost within the Eldrian Archives. The future lighting up, he took up the role of a Scholar, the darkness becoming littered with new information. Recalled. While studying magic, deep in the archives, a Skydancer wandered up to him. She'd interrupted a rather entrancing read, yet, Albus didn't bare his teeth and claws. In fact, he couldn't even speak, his attention now caught by the girl. She was like illusion to him; to enchanting to be even close to something real. She was some bizarre, unearthly beauty, both within his mind and eyes. She'd found his silence oddly amusing, as if she'd received silence often. She claimed that her name was Raven, and she chose to read his books with him. Sooner than many, she became Albus' friend, a subject of his constant attention. Cherished. Unlike so many dragons he had known, Albus found Raven was one that he remembered. Perhaps it was some twist of fate, but he couldn't help but recall the youth, his mind littered with textiles, and recollections of her voice. She was by far the most interesting being that Albus had met; so intriguing, no question about her seemed fully answered. Somewhere amidst the endless questions and patient answers, he found someone he felt was worth protecting. Someone he would likely never forget, despite the darkness consuming him. That someone is now constantly by his side, quietly aiding his search for answers, until they find them. |
