Velvet Floracat
The pull to return to Emberglow Hearth was too strong to ignore for her parents, though neither were of Fire element themselves, but they were forced to lay their clutch early when whiteout conditions from a terrible blizzard swept it's way across Sornieth. Anxious, they waited for the eggs to hatch and continue their journey even though their hatchlings were of Shadow element; to show their hatclings the way home. Two hatched quickly, but the third was slow to move. After several hours, the pair decided it would best to move on; fearing that perhaps the egg had started to rot despite their best efforts.

The egg was stumbled across by a young derg known as Elmo, her young hatcling, and her Gaurdian keeper and father, Nacht. Seeing the egg, still glowing strong, alone, Elmo wondered if perhaps it was an egg left by the Crafter, as she herself had. Having recently lost her mate and three of her eggs, the thought of leaving an egg alone to come to who knows what fate was abhorrent to her. So, she and Nacht settled themselves to keep the egg warm from the snow, while her surviving hatcling cuddled into her.

The egg hatched a short while after.

The Crafter does not craft Coatls.

Belivet grew up with a mother, a sister and a grandfather. They moved around for a time when she was very young - she has fond if blurry memories of riding with Colette upon their grandfather's back - before her mother came across a place they could call home. The Burrow, as her mother took to lovingly calling home, attracted other dragons in need of home. Elmo greeted them all with open arms.
