DESCRIPTION
Candy is the clan's cobbler. He arrived spontaneously and head-over-heels towards the clan (literally) as he dropped into their entrance. Candy is a very optimistic, happy dragon and has a laid-back air to him regardless of his constant motion. His body seems to be almost always moving, either his lower body twirling lazily or his tail swinging slowly back and forth. While he is one of the best in his trade, not many can deny that their shoes are never...quite the same when they get returned. Many times a dragon would get back his shoes and find that he's done something extra with them, like tucking feathers on the sides to create wings covering the sides or really pretty thread designs he's sewn in. Very few dragons have the heart to crush his enthusiasm, and they can't deny he's a fantastic cobbler, but some (mostly plague-ians) are very vocal about how much they hate their suddenly fashionable and wild shoes.

Still, he doesn't let them get him down. He loves what he does and he does what he loves.

He met Kira when she introduced herself to him as he was repairing the entrance's ceiling. He immediately felt attraction for the Snapper and while it took him some time to realize, he discovered that she also felt the same. Kira appears much wiser and calmer than her mate, but even other dragons have noticed how Candy can draw a large smile or sudden laughter (sometimes even a blush) from their normally-stern priestess.

Candy came to the clan during the storm, stumbling into the entrance of their lair by pure chance. The sentry, Luna, was surprised but hide away as she watched the strange Spiral. Candy had looked up at the hole, blinking water out of his large eyes and sighed heavily as he eyed the clan's flag, symbolizing that a clan owned this territory. Shaking off as much water as he could and attempting to clean up to the best he could, he approached the heavy wooden doors, knocking hesitantly before doing so again but more loudly.

"Hello? I'm sorry, but I accidently crashed through your entrance! I-I didn't mean to, and I'll fix it!" He said loudly, shivering in the cold. Luna ducked through the Fae-sized, hidden, entry just as a startled Shiloh peeked out the peephole. The large Imperial glanced at her before nodding his head towards the door. Understanding his unspoken question, she answer, "he did crash through unexpectedly. Maybe we should wake up Alaia?"

Shiloh eyed the door thoughtfully, before nodding as the spiral knocked again, a little more loudly. Luna took to the air, flying off to her leaders' room. Moments later, Alaia was looking out the peephole as Shiloh and Luna waited for her decision.

Candy stood outside the door, blinking dripping raindrops as he looked around. Should he leave..? It seemed awfully rude to just crash in and leave the damage, but-- He stepped back in surprise as the doors finally opened, revealing a stern-looking, chocolate Guardian. "Oh, ah, hi. I-I accidently crashed through your entrance as I was looking for shelter. I'll fix it--" Candy stuttered, feeling the tips of his ears burn in embarrassment as the dragoness stared calmly down at him. She finally looked past him at the hole before giving him a small, amused smile before opening the door a little further, "you can help fix it in the morning. For now, let's gets some food in you and a warm bed for the night."

Candy blinked in surprise, honestly taken back. The Guardian titled her head, raising an eyebrow as she waited patiently. Feeling his face redden, he ducked past her, muttering an apology and a thank you.

"We don't expect any trouble from you." A slightly squeaky, but an intimidating voice nonetheless spoke behind him as he noticed the deep blue-green Imperial stare down at him as a hooded Fae peered down from him on his shoulder. Candy ducked his head, "No sir. That'll just be rude," he said in a lighter voice, offering a smile. The Imperial gave a grin back as the Fae ducked behind him.

The trio showed him to a guest room, a nice guest room, before leaving him alone. Candy was too exhausted to do anything but eat the food he was given, pull his boots off, and pass out in the bed.

The next morning, he woke early and peeked out of his room. The same Imperial from last night stood in the hallway and turned his attention to him. "Good, you're awake. Come with me." He was led to what looked like the dining hall, filled with other dragons. He tried to question when he should fix the---but was caught off as the other dragons noticed their sudden and mysterious guest. Names, too many for him to remember, flew at him as he tried to answer the questions shot at him to the best of his ability. He explained that his name was Candy, which got some amused smiles, and explained with a blush (grateful for his already pink scales) how he arrived last night. He began to relax as they ate and talked on, Shiloh beginning to feel less like a guard and more interested as he offered news of the outside. Finally, breakfast done, he was given supplies and set to work on the hole he created.

Candy was hammering wood in as he held the nails with his lips as he concentrated. "Hello."His heart jumped out, and he hammered a talon as he glanced behind him at the dragoness. Yelping, he hissed but sucked gently on the bruised finger and shot an embarrassed look at the newcomer. He paused and took a better look at the snapper. She was a light yellow, all over compared to his wild colors, but he could see other colors reflecting off her scales as she smiled kindly at him. "Hi," he answered with a grin, feeling a warmth creep down his neck at how long he must have stared at her.

"I didn't mean to startle you, I just came to meet our new guest. My name is Kira, I'm the clan's priestess." She explained softly, her voice smooth as glass. Candy gave her big smile, "My name is Candy," he appreciated that she didn't show a change of expression at his name, "and I'm a cobbler. Nothing as fancy as being the priestess." he joked lightly. She laughed softly, and he busied himself with adjusting the beams, making sure they were tight and sturdy. "How do you plan on fixing the hole?"

"Um, I saw how you had beams holding up the other dirt and ground, so I copied it and once I'm done with this, I'll shovel more dirt on top." He explained, pointing to the examples he used. Kira nodded, before handing him a canteen of water, where he gratefully took a drink. Kira stayed, much to his concealed joy, as he finished the construction.

Candy has never felt quite as welcomed in this clan as he did anywhere else. The dragons were friendly, the leaders understanding, and Kira...(he ignored the way his ears felt hot). He didn't want to leave the friendly clan and was undeniably happy when Alaia and Hideaki, the leaders, offered him a permanent place within the clan. He set up his own little workshop, his bedroom behind it, where he worked on shoes and boots of his clanmates. He admittedly added his own little touches to the shoes, much to the dismay of the owners but most of them just let him keep the feathers, beads or sudden designs on their shoes. Another touch he was happy about, but he still ignored the other more...loud reactions to his artwork. Even if they have him remove his artwork, he doesn't let them get him down. He loves what he does and he does what he loves, something most dragons in the Lightseeker clan seemed to understand.

I think I finally found a home...He thinks with his heart full of joy as he worked on a boot.
