Water! What a peculiar ridgeback! Other Ridgebacks wrinkle their long noses and scoff in disgust as she splashes through puddles, bumps cups of water on herself and, the audacity!, she's even installed a pool! Of course, there are lakes and pools in the courtyards of the Library, barely enough to wade in, if any other water dragons in the clan need a good swim, they need to travel to an allied clan. Not anymore! Amphitrite, the oddly water-loving ridgeback is considered a bit of a saviour amongst water flight dragons residing in the Library. She has also installed aquariums for herself and others to study the biomes and lifeforms in the water. She has far more aquariums inside her personal cave, or, as she calls it, cove. The other ridgebacks steer clear of her, as if she has some sort of water-loving disease that they might catch. But that doesn't bother her. She prances towards the pool confidently, and even splashes at the other two ridgebacks if they get too close. |
What are corals so stressed about? Current Events! Amphitrite is a bit of a prankster, but in a good natured way and only willing to goof off with dragons who have given their consent. Most dragons don't have to worry about her painfully teasing you without your permission, and be ready for her to apologize after if she ever crosses a line, as she sometimes cant resist herself at poking a joke in here and there. Puns are her absolute favourite, she won't hesitate to use them on any dragon, no matter how much they groan or threaten to pull her tail off, that only makes her say more. Of course, this hydrophilic ridgeback also has a motherly streak to her, making sure her clanmates are hydrated, and any dragon has gotten enough sun time or water time that they need. Nobody goes hungry under her watch, even if it was by choice and they were too sucked into their book to eat, she pops up with a fully cooked meal for them to eat! Of course, this is only every so often, or if she notices, as she's usually distracted by splashing unsuspecting victims and laughing at her own jokes. What a dork. |
