Biography
Veronica:
Even as a young tyke, Veronica knew she wanted to explore the world. Her mother Beboop thought this was a great idea. Since Beboop had no parents of her own, she figured it wouldn't hurt to send Veronica off exploring not too long after she had hatched (Hey, we never said Veronica's mom was very bright!).
Veronica set off from the Reedcleft Ascent going east. She soon found herself over a huge expanse of water. Veronica grew scared. She didn't have much experience flying and her wings were getting tired. Veronica thought she might give out and fall into the water and drown, but she couldn't give up and die that easily. Veronica's will-power was strong, and she forced herself to make it to the land on the distant horizon.
When Veronica finally made it to dry ground, she quickly landed. From there on, Veronica gave her wings a rest, walking instead. She walked and walked and soon noticed that since making it across the Ocean, she had ceased to see any water around. It was very hot in what turned out to be a desert, and Veronica's mouth was parched. Veronica had earlier feared drowning, but now she feared dying of thirst!
Veronica, if anything though, was determined. She refused to give up and continued traveling in hopes that water was only a few steps away. Veronica did not find water, though. However, a shadow cast overhead, and Veronica was grateful for the shade. It made things much cooler.
The shadow seemed to have a mind of its own, however. It would move. Veronica would move underneath it again. Then the shadow would move again. Veronica began to get frustrated when suddenly the shadow disappeared altogether and a Fae dragon stood before her.
This Fae dragon was the source of the shadow, as she had been circling overhead. Veronica had just been too tired to notice. Fortunately, the Fae dragon was very nice. Her name was ThunderBug, and she showed Veronica how to get water from the cactus plants and invited Veronica to stay at her Lair. Veronica happily agreed to go with ThunderBug, choosing to stay at the High Voltage Lair of the Thunder Clan to recuperate from her long journey.
While at the High Voltage Lair, Veronica learned a lot from ThunderBug, who thought it best to teach her more about the world before letting Veronica go off on her own again.
