Backstory
The tragic thing about Zorea is the ironic thing about her not being able to conceive a child. She loves children and spent her whole life looking forward to having kids. She found her loved one, her "soul mate", destined to be. They waited until Zorea was slightly older (although she was old + mature for a dragon and ready to breed, she was extremely young for a Lamia). They tried to have children but were unsuccessful. They looked into it and discovered that Zorea has a deformed reproduction center, preventing her from ever having children. When her "mate" found out about this, he abandoned Zorea for a fertile, pretty white dragon. One of her close friends was also unable to have children. His story was just as cruel. His parents messed with his hormones and organs so that it was impossible for him to father children. They did that so he can focus on his job not on raising children. At their younger ages, they made a promise that if one, by a miracle, can have children, they will not have birth children, so they can suffer not being able to have kids together. Unfortunately, the friend broke the promise when miraculously his lover could have his kids. Zorea feels betrayed because of this, causing her corrupted form to despise him and his children.
Family
Zorea's family is one word, complicated. Her father is Lucifer, the literal devil, and her mother was another high-ranking angel. She, on the other hand, wants nothing with the devil and his darkness. Originally though, her mother used to represent the elemental of greed, so when she died, Darkness called upon Zorea to ask her to take her mother's place. Zorea tried to decline his offer, but Darkness went and corrupted her. Filling her with dark, corrupting magic. |
Personality/Behavior
A gentle giant more or less. This large dragoness generally sticks to the sidelines. During most situations, she tends to drift away and think by herself. When others fail to make a plan or think up one, she generally comes up to them with a well-schemed plan. She talks in a deeper raspy voice. For the majority of the time, she speaks as little as she can, minimizing the number of words she speaks, unless she knows the person well enough. There will be times when she speaks her full thoughts, speaking with more complex words. Her naturally warm red-orange eyes reflect her personality. She has a motherly quality about her, her kindness and warmth make her approachable, well after you meet her. She's quite terrifying when you first meet her. She loves children and is more than happy to take care of any child. Her terrifying size and looks, at first, would make people wary of letting their kids near her, but really she is incredible with kids. Her love for children is so intense that she will protect any that is in danger or is being harmed. Her skills of taking care of children come along at doing great at teaching them or disciplining them. Kids that are taken care of by her usually behave.
Lore
Zorea is really a Lamia, who has the ability to shapeshift into a dragon or a human. She typically prefers to be her true form or her dragon form rather than her human form. In her Lamia form, she has dark red rose petals blooming off of her; she can lie them flat or raise them to help show emotion. She is the youngest child in her family with one older sister. But she is far from young on human or dragon terms. She is about 2,000,000 years old with her older sibling being 73,000,000 years old. This is somewhat because she is a Lamia and a Vampire dragon whilst in dragon form. Vampire dragons drink the blood of other beings and use the blood to help with aging and keep themselves in good shape. They can do without blood for long periods of time. Lamias are the same.
Lamias are a strange species. They can walk bipedal or quadrupedal. Most of the species have long arms, extremely long legs, and generally a smaller torso. Each limb is set with claws. For Zorea her claws are on the long side of the spectrum. Fully extended, her middle claw is around 3 ft long. The claws usually are used for hunting and climbing purposes. They can and will be used to impress potential mates, or to scare things. The species tend to be extremely tall; the shortest being around 9 ft and the tallest can get up to 24 ft. Albeit it is very rare for a Lamia to be over 20 ft tall. Zorea, at the shortest, can be 14 ft tall. Lamias possess magical abilities that vary from each individual. The magic depends on the makings that a Lamia possesses. The more markings and the more intricate they are, typically the more powerful the Lamia is. Zorea has beautiful markings all of her markings showing how powerful she is. She has the magical ability to teleport. |
