B I O G R A P H Y

______ Nightmare is a daughter of the moonlit heavens, weighed by the melancholy that comes with the blessing of the night. Her scales glow in ever-shifting patterns that reflect the constellations in the skies above. Her wings are a smattering of twinkling stars that glitter with her every breath. She, more than any other, is aware of her own insignificance within the cosmos and she, more than any other, understands that significance comes from her actions towards others.


______ Nocturnal by nature, or perhaps named for her preference of the dark, Nightmare spends most of her time by large, reflective bodies of water where she can stare both up and down to see blinking dots of light. She is reserved but clearly thoughtful; any manner of engagement with her personal philosophies will draw out a dragon that is wise beyond her decades of mortal life. Each word is carefully said with at least three times as much care put in to the formation of its meaning. Nightmare is all too familiar with the disasters that loose tongues can cause and she has no desire to start nor engage in such conflicts.


______ The halo atop her head is of frequent inquiry, but Nightmare has never deigned a response. It floats of its own volition and glows even when she sleeps; a mark of divinity, perhaps?
