Bloodwings

Bloodwings' color doesn't come naturally. He got the color from staining the blood of his enemies on his scales to make it the color it is today. His pearl comes from the Red Sea, and it was very hard to find. It took days upon days to weeks on end searching for the perfect one. He wouldn't dare rest until he got the pearl that would change his life. His scales are a mixed red though, seeing as his different enemies would have different color blood. There are even a few blue scales from squids he fought in the Read Sea, but you can't see them because they have faded, over years of combat. He doesn't know what to do with his life now. The fire in his eyes have gone out, and he has no purpose on Earth anymore. His meaning is faded from the face of the Earth. No friends to discover anymore, nobody, except his pearl. He would talk to it every night, he would cry on it, tell it his problems, and sometimes even sleep with it. He barely got any sleep at all though, if he did he would have nightmares of all his past victims coming back to kill him. He knew it wasn't possible though, so he just tried to sleep through it all. It never happened though, and he was soon deprived of sleep so bad, he couldn't even get up. Since he couldn't get up, he slept. They say you can't make up lost sleep no matter how hard you try. With that, it led him to the next era, and the town he lived in was now bustling with something he hadn't seen in decades - life.
