Kushiel- Grateful Warrior

Kushiel was left to die. As an egg, he was rolled out of the nest on purpose by his father. His father didn't want another mouth to feed, and thought Kushiel would be a waste of time. When Kushiel hatched, he was alone in the bamboo forest. He was starving and could barely speak. He couldn't fly or walk. It was only by chance that Sundrop found him. Sundrop was a mother to Kushiel, feeding him and loving him like he was her own. Kushiel grew strong and proud of his adopted Clan. When he became an adult, Sundrop told him the truth. Kushiel still loved his adopted mother anyway, and didn't want to try returning to his real parents.
