Biography

Linnaeus
{The Florist}
Linnaeus is skilled in language; the language of flowers. He speaks in white chrysanthemums and lavender, bringing together beautiful bouquets of flowers. Linnaeus finds beauty in all aspects of life.

Coming from a foreign clan, Linnaeus keeps a small lair on the edge of the clan's territory. He decorates it in pastel hangings and soft rugs, his personal hoard made out of petals instead of gems. Flowers of all kinds burst from his lair, and he is never found without a few stuck under his scales or entwined around his antlers.

His skill at flower arrangements was never a secret, and Linnaeus' popularity in the clan quickly grew. A shy dragon, Linnaeus has never dealt with attention well, and now often hides away in his lair to avoid the other dragons. Though imposing in size and grace, Linnaeus often stumbles over his words and usually simply excuses himself from the conversation to escape back to his lair.

Yet there is one dragon Linnaeus wishes he could speak with; Tetricus, an assistant to a council head. Linnaeus likes to believe he can see through the other dragon's icy exterior and into a misunderstood, gentler personality. Linnaeus often- secretly- leaves sunflowers at the edge of Tetricus' study, savoring the quick glances he can catch of the Spiral dragon.

Someday, Linnaeus will actually speak to Tetricus, but not today.
