Biography
Verchiel

Verchiel has very little in terms of magical power. Considering his parents, such a trait is very odd indeed. Kali theorizes that they were canceled out, as he was born of a Shadow being in Light lands. Gabriel theorizes that he merely hasn't grown into them yet, whatever they may be. Either way, Verchiel doesn't mind. He's more concerned with other matters. His parents, though god-like in their own right, have never been one for popularity. They aided in the saving of the Ancient Guard clan - the clan that created Magen Rishon - and have since been seen as heroes. Their name has spread amongst the kingdom; their reputations proceed them. Yet, they avoid courtly gatherings. They stay holed up in their rooms and favorite places, either with each other or with their friend. Such an attitude is off-putting for Verchiel, who loves nothing more than to spend time in the court. His fascination with the more orderly ways of the nobles started at a young age, where he was drawn in by the fancy dresses and suits worn by the many dragons who frequented the court parties. They looked regal, even if some of them weren't, and Verchiel imagined himself in such a position. He could envision himself wearing a stiff jacket, shoulders and back straight, pristine gloves on his hands. Such a vision soon became his obsession, and he went out of his way to be taught the manners of the court. Luckily for him, royalty frequented and resided within Magen Rishon. He had many teachers while growing up, some staying for only a week, others living within the castle walls. Lelente was especially helpful, as was Aurelius, even if they were both Imperials and held themselves to an even higher standard than most. They taught him how to talk, the proper way to walk and hold himself, the fashions that were popular with different breeds and seasons. Dances were harder for him to learn, as he was uncoordinated at first, but he never stopped trying. In the end, his hard work paid off. He gained a name for himself within the court, though all knew he wasn't technically nobility. His parentage helped, of course, but his reputation truly came from the effort he put forth. He made friends, tried his best not to make enemies, and his politeness was well-received. Only the jealous and his older brother had something negative to say about him. He let such words roll off his back like water. He was where he wanted to be. Nothing else mattered. His temperament is calm. Rarely does he get worked up over things, choosing to please and seek diplomatic answers to any possible problems. As such, he hasn't spent much time training for combat. If put in a situation where he has to defend himself, he'd no doubt walk away with quite a number of injuries, if he walked away at all. Quote:
Uh-oh, looks like Verchiel wandered a little too far from Magen Rishon, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!
