PAST
No one knows for sure where Cara came from. It feels like her story changes every time she tells it. Some say she emerged from the ocean, some say she came in on the winds--but whatever the case, all the Collective can say for sure is that one day she set up camp on a rocky crag in the Crystalspine Reaches, found a kindred spirit in a young Fae traveler, and decided to stay. More and more dragons began to spend the night in Cara's camp to listen to her stories, and some decided to stay permanently. The rest, as they say, is history.

PRESENT

Her old bones make it harder for her to travel as often as she used to, so Cara now spends the majority of her time building new structures for the Collective and farming crops and herbs. She'll still indulge the younger members of the Collective by telling them stories from time to time, but they have to catch her in the right mood first. Being a bit stubborn, she can often clash with the younger Council members arguing for more radical change, and has privately begun to struggle with paranoia that the clan she founded doesn't need her anymore.
