Biography
Flux finds a deep sense of ironic humor in the fact that, of all the dragons on team Let's Forget The Clan Project And Stare At The Sky, she's the only arcane dragon of the whole group. The rest consist of light and ice dragons who either care about it due to the fact the stars are pretty, or an early fascination with the aurora. Flux is the only one who retains some curiosity on what really is out there.
Omen has some texts of old legends saying to be careful, but Flux doesn't really care as much as she probably should. And since the mantra of a lightning lair is 'innovate', Flux isn't really stopped or cautioned by anyone else.
She's highly intelligent and curious, unfailingly stubborn, and sometimes a little loose with the truth in order to get answers to what she wants to know, or permission, or supplies. She's a champion of finding strange solutions to things that weren't exactly problems to anyone else, and applies her ability to improvise to what she does.
She didn't quite join the Elementalists by choice; Tyrant shoved her into the team figuring that NOT keeping her busy was a very bad plan, and her gift with magic, combined with an odd form for it made a perfect combination for her project. Tyrant watches her far more closely than Flux realizes, but tends to let her work on both projects. Who knows, maybe the secondary team will get an interesting result. Most likely, they'll blow themselves up trying and give the medical team something to do.
Tyrant DOES insist that any rocketry attempts, space tests or anything else involving volatile experiments be done in the desert a half day's flight from their lair, and they make sure to clear heading out with Voidwalker, Ravage or herself. Just in case.
There's some dragons that theorize part of her obsession with rocketry stems from the fact that compared to her body length, Flux's wings might as well belong to a snapper. Never in earshot though- the fact she's not that adept in the sky is not a general topic she's willing to discuss. Anytime it comes up, she finds a new, far more interesting thing to talk about.

Constellation, Continuum, Flux, Omen, with occasional guest Scire.
