BIOGRAPHY

When the great clan beneath the waves was destroyed, Periphae found Ptera and brought her to safety. The young dragon was able to help Periphae and Beguiler build their clan, and has seen the clan move from the Water territories to the Nature territories.

Ptera became interested in medicine after undergoing an acetic fast, praying to the Tidelord for a purpose since, unlike most Water dragons born in The Spiral Keep, she had no prophetic gifts. While traveling in Dragonhome, she studied under several doctors, deciding that this was her calling.

Ptera has been with the clan a long time, and in that time, she has become an efficient doctor. From colds to serious ailments and battle wounds, she's seen it all.

She discovered that the slime of her Abyss Striker was useful in tonics, so she collects . his slime daily, using it in experiments and mixing it into various medicines for use in her clan.

Personality
Ptera is very no-nonsense. While she is a compassionate healer, she also refuses to tolerate whining. She believes that medicine is a science, and nothing can be better than what science has proven, leading her to clash with Locasta. Not to say that she isn't curious about new medical ideas and discoveries, but she prefers to see the process from beginning to end rather than rely on magical ability. Ptera is sarcastic in nature and never seen without her trademark hat. For a little Fae, she has a very big personality, and even the largest Imperial will bow to her superior knowledge. 		xwzehfq.png
