Ieronimus Patriarch As a hatchling, Ieronimus was quite slower than his siblings. He didn't have the same energy they had or desire to be fast and he didn't care. He would much rather observe the scenery than racing through it. Enjoy the journey instead of focusing on the destination. Maybe that's why his siblings left him behind when they raced to the light realm for the joy of racing each other. He had been admiring the forest they were traveling though when Ieronimus lost sight of his clutch mates. He hadn't cared that he had lost them, deciding that it must've been time for him to find a new clan to fit in with since he hadn't meshed well with his previous one. And then he was found. Ieronimus was found as a hatchling by his future mate, Leto the Matriarch to the Of Myth and Terror Clan. Even though he was so young he knew as she growled to him about his safety that she was the one he would try to court once he became an adult. Ieronimus trained under her, enjoying how she has such passion at teaching the clan mates how to defend themselves under any circumstances. He saw the spark that caught his attention so easily when he was a hatchling and knew he didn't want to spend a moment without it in his life. As he began courting her, he learned more and more about her. Through the walk on the beach he learned of her odd adoration of creatures that got overlooked by other dragons because they weren't cute or intimidating in their eyes. During a skirmish, she told him how she has worn her mask for as long as she could remember. On a hunting trip, she told him how she absolutely loves rabbits and that same night Ieronimus managed to get several white bunny babies as a gift for her. Once he collected the rest of the gear that matched her mask, she agreed to be his mate and it was the happiest day of his life. Ieronimus hopes that one day Shadowbinder will smile upon him and grant him the transformation to become a Coatl. He strongly desires this to become even better for Leto because in his eyes she deserves the best. Since his acceptance into the Of Myth and Terror Clan, he believes that he has been granted the best thing in his life. On the 10th day of the her month, Shadowbinder granted Ieronimus' wish and he was alllowed to become a Coatl. Mate~Leto |
