Ebony

Ebony woke up alone, in an abandoned snow covered nest. As her tiny body tried to stumble out of the nest, she sneezed from the snow falling from the grey sky. She slowly realized, that somehow, she would have to get warm. The small mirror slowly clambored out of the too large nest, occasionally sneezing from the white frost that tickled her snout. She came across a large cave, its blackness yawning open. It was pitch black as she entered, but she had heard a quite peculiar sound. She almost yelped in fright when she sputtered flames, reveling a large sleeping Cardinal Hippogriff. The hippogriff slowly woke up, spotting the small mirror in its den, it screeched loudly. Ebony's first instinct was to fight, blindly trying to get her claws hooked in the places she instinctively knew were the week points of the hippogriff. She managed to nick it in the neck, slicing a deep hole into it. The Hippogriff slumped down, and as a memory, she took its bones too wear. They were big on her, so she used some spider webs to hold the skulls in place. She took up the space, and made it her home. Many years later, she fits into the skull perfectly. Ebony has decided to move out, and join a clan, in hopes of having to not burden herself to hunt in the almost barren landscape. She noticed a small fae, and a few other dragons clustered together, eating. She asked the fae, who appeared to be the leader, if she could join. The fae told her she was called SteelHeart, and told her she could join, on the expense on hunting an even portion with everyone. Ebony gladly excepted, and now resides in the Sweet Tooth clan, keeping the old bones on her as a reminder. She doesn't mingle to well with others, but loves some company. Many say she has an almost mysterious air about her, she never told anyone where she came from or why she left.
