Serkan

Serkan was born in the wind flight, and loved the friendly atmosphere of her home. However, she was not so enamored with the carefree aspect. Serkan has always loved academics, politics, relations, and all sorts of studying. She would spend her days on the ground while her spiral neighbors played above her, feeling out of place for favoring seriousness and intellectual pursuits. Even though she had self-esteem and enthusiasm to match her peers, she just couldn't adapt to the attitude of not taking things seriously. When she was barely older than a hatchling, she ran away from her parents and home and wandered between clans, hiring herself out as a tutor to other clans hatchlings.
It was during these travels that she met her future husband, Xeno. It was love at first sight, although Xeno had to spend lots of time convincing her to commit to married life instead of being solely dedicated to her career and travel. Once marrying him, however, Serkan was the happiest she had ever been.
Serkan met Carmmadon in her darkest hour, when Xeno found her and brought what would become the Avendian clan together. Although Serkan was more fiery and direct than Carmmadon, they shared a similar spirit and love of teaching.
Serkan is now a comforting mother figure for most of the clan, teaching academics to hatchlings that wish to learn and giving advice to all the young ladies in the clan.

• Personality: In her youth, Serkan was very headstrong and committed to her ideals. Now that she's older she keeps to herself more, but is still very direct and has very high self-esteem. Despite this, she is very motherly and approachable, her words sound less mean and more "tell it like it is". She has a lifelong love of academics and learning that she patiently shares with anyone who will listen.
