With a heart as soft and sensitive as the petals of a rose, it only makes sense for a dragon like Rosie to find solace in flowers. She often says that flowers make better companions when the thorns of her life cut those around her. If anyone were to ask, she would say that she’d spend her entire life with only flowers around her if she could. Of course, she’d be lying. Although she had joined the clan later, she was still one of the earlier arrivals. Earliest, now that most of her old companions had gone. It weighed on her that the series of tragedies began almost as soon as she arrived, and when the Civil War broke out, she became convinced that she was cursed. Though Arietna and many other clan members tried to explain to her that the pear can fall when the crow takes off, she grew fearful of affection and withdrew herself from the clan. Seeing that there was no way for them to intervene, Arietna granted Rosie’s request to tend to the flower gardens by herself, with the hope that Rosewell and the occasional visitor might let her love blossom once again. |

Jangmi handles deliveries and trades on Rosie’s behalf on occasions where the latter does not feel well enough socially to take them herself. Thanks to the care they take to monitor every flower that gets harvested, the garden remains perpetually in bloom, without a single place left bereft of petals. Rosie appreciates their mutual love of flowers and often asks for their help with gathering and arranging bouquets with special meanings. After all, flowers are a language of their own. |

Both a symbol of love and love lost, the wilting rose reminds Rosie of the family she lost in the calamities that struck the clan. As much as she understands when Arietna tells her that her fixation on the past is unhealthy, she also feels that it would be a disservice to move forward and let go of what had been. Even knowing that her logic would be seen as incorrect, she holds onto the memory of her old family in favor of trying to rebuild a new family for the fourth time. |

As one of the newest members of the clan, they often make Rosie confront her refusal to let go of the past and move forward, which Rosie both appreciates and hates. Though her internal relationship with them is complicated, she loves the aroma blends that they put together to calm Rosewell down, and also finds their routine visit to be as soothing as their aroma blends. |
