Reef

Reef is a bandit. She wears her rogue apparel with pride. With her distinctive crackle markings, it helps her hide on those quiet nights when she steals into an opulent cave and snatches a diamond pendant, or when she creeps into the auction house and swipes items at insanely low costs.

The only jewellery she wears is the only one she ever purchased fairly. As a young, impressionable hatchling, she wandered into a jewelry store. Bright-eyed with curiosity, she wasn't there for the merchandise - she was following a handsome white skydancer... who had come to purchase a ring for his beloved. When the jeweler realised that she was there to stalk a customer, he nearly bit her tail off, and she quickly purchased the bracelet on the shelf beside her to placate him. Sneering, he took her gold and informed her that no one would ever waste a jewel on someone like her.

Of course, she had to prove him wrong. But instead of wheedling dragons into buying her jewels - she lacked the allure - she took to stealing instead. And it's worked out rather well, in her opinion.
