Taken in by a stranger (dubbed her aunt), Nector grew up alone. She wasn't the richest, either, which caused her to scavenge. Scavenging led to her combining the wreckage she got together, causing the most extravagant statues and creations to be made. As she got older, she started building more complex things--tools, gadgets, and even full-on animatronics. All of this was self-taught, but supported by her aunt.
Nector left home when she was old enough in search of adventure. Unfortunately, while flying above an undocumented forest, she was attacked mid-air and went skyrocketing to the ground.
When she woke up, a dragon with golden eyes and wings stood over her. He was stolid, rough, and gigantic, but was gentle towards her. He had even wrapped her wounds up and placed her on the softest of grass in the clearing he had taken her to. His name was Plumagon, and he was the protector of anyone who fell here.
Nector grew close to Plumagon, especially after he swore to be her bodyguard for as long as he could. They have been together ever since, and bore three children together--Dimitris, Aigle (now located in a clan of the Abiding Boneyards), and Baibre.
