Larien is an unemotional, and quite snobby Fae. True to the Fae, she is extremely emotionless to all other dragons. She loves being the center of attention, and holds herself in high regard. Her best friend is Farryn, and they do everything together. Because of her emotionless nature, Farryn sometimes has a hard time understanding her, and can't always read her. The only dragon that has been able to read her every emotion is Squash. If she has to travel far, she makes sure to hitch a ride from her "butler", Squash.

There was nowhere to run to. She had no one to help her in the darkness she was enveloped in. She felt alone in the clan she was a part of. Out of her misery, she agreed to have a mate. A lovely Fae named Sera. He was the idea of a perfect dragon to raise a family with. He was kind, sweet, and always saw the best in her. And that’s what she hated most about him. There was never an issue, never a fight, and never a time where she was proven wrong. Her fiery personality cried out for someone to help her change. But instead, she was loved.

She would never forget that day. The sky was filled with angry clouds, almost to spite her. The ground was damp with the coming rain, and she knew what she had done. She gazed down at the sloppily made nest. Among the twigs and leaves, an egg. Her eyes filled with tears of pain and agony. How could I have done this? How did it go so far? Panic began to swell inside her. She couldn’t raise a young one. She was nowhere near ready. As the sky began to roar with thunder, she ran. Holding the egg in her delicate arms, she flew back to her home. Sera was inside, and was surprised to see her in such a hurry. Once he saw the egg, his face softened. No. Not again. Be mad. Be mad at me you fool. If only he would yell at her. This egg shouldn’t have happened. And never should she.
“I know what you’re thinking Larien. I know you better than anyone here.” His words were kind, but they cut her deeply.
“I have to go.” she responded. Her breaths were short and quick. She was starting to panic again. “I can’t be here anymore. Especially after…” her words trailed off, but they both knew what she was referring to.
“I’ll always think of you. Don’t worry. I’ll take care of the hatchling.” Slowly Sera walked up to her and gently took the egg from her claws. “And Larien,” his voice was a little more stern than usual. “I forgive you.” With that, Larien flew out the den, and started her journey.
