B I O G R A P H Y - I Gwynevere’s journey began in the shrouded depths of the Tangled Woods, where the Tundra first crawled out of her shell, emerging from a dark crevice into the unfamiliar, foreboding landscape. As a young hatchling, she found herself helpless and alone, navigating the thick woods with tentative steps. The dense canopy above blocked out most light, creating an eerie twilight even at midday. Yet, amidst the shadows, a faint glow of fiery orange caught her eye. Drawn to the light, she traversed the thick underbrush until she found its source: a fellow Tundra dragon, whose presence provided the warmth and security she desperately sought. The young Tundra before her, once spooked, seemed to relax at the sight of one of his own kind. He welcomed her to his tiny, little nook of the Tangled Woods. Their meeting marked the beginning of a profound partnership. Gwynevere, with her inherent resilience, quickly bonded with Gwyndolin. They complemented each other’s strengths and weaknesses, and soon, started to form a relationship with one another. Together, they navigated the perils of the Tangled Woods, providing support and companionship to one another in a broken landscape. As they started to build their home, Gwynevere and Gwyndolin encountered other dragons, each searching for a new beginning. The duo’s welcoming nature and willingness to provide shelter and guidance attracted many who were lost or in need of a home. Gwynevere’s nurturing disposition and Gwyndolin’s leadership abilities fostered a sense of community among the disparate dragons. They were eager to accept those who sought refuge, gradually building a clan that grew in both numbers and strength. |
B I O G R A P H Y - II The clan's expansion was marked by a collective effort to create a sanctuary that reflected the values of its founders. Under Gwynevere and Gwyndolin’s guidance, the clan members worked together to build a cohesive and inclusive community. The diverse backgrounds of the dragons enriched the clan’s culture, as each individual contributed their unique skills and knowledge. Gwynevere played a pivotal role in this integration, using her empathetic nature to mediate conflicts and foster harmony among the members. In time, the clan’s influence extended beyond the boundaries of the Tangled Woods. Gwynevere and Gwyndolin’s vision of a safe haven for all dragons became a reality, as their home, in the early days of Nokron, flourished into a beacon of hope and resilience. Through their unwavering partnership and shared dedication, Gwynevere and Gwyndolin strove to transform the desolate lands of Shadow into a true home for whoever sought one. Moons came and went, and thus, the clan moved beyond its more "primitive" stages. Gwyndolin had set out to scavenge one day, and instead, came home with a rouge egg. Once returning from his expedition, Gwynevere sensed something was amiss, and was hesitant to keep it. Her initial reluctance stemmed from the odd sensation the egg emanated. It felt as though a dark presence lingered within, a stark contrast to the life they had built together. But Gwyndolin’s resolve was unwavering. He spoke of a responsibility they had to give this potential life a chance, to provide it with the care and warmth they both had found in each other. His words, filled with compassion and determination, softened Gwynevere's heart. |

B I O G R A P H Y - III Once the egg hatched into a tiny Imperial, Gwynevere quickly grew fond of the young dragon. She saw past the darkness within him, focusing instead on his innocent curiosity and gentle nature. Under their care, the Imperial grew into a kind and strong dragon, though the shadow of his origins always loomed near. Gwynevere watched as Gwyndolin mentored him, teaching what Gwyndolin would come to refer to him as "Midir", not only the ways of the clan but also how to harness and control the darkness inside him. Gwynevere decided to take it upon herself to nurture Midir with the gentle care and wisdom she had accumulated over the years, and showed him how to see the world through the eyes of others. After Gwyndolin granted Midir his title and stepped back, Gwynevere followed suit. She took to Nokstella with Gwyndolin, where the two now reside along with their confidantes, Frampt and Kaathe. Although Gwynevere is not heavily present in the clan to sort out every difficulty, her and Gwyndolin still play a heavy role in the future of Nokron. With Midir as the clan's leader, he makes the decisions for the clan, but Gwnydolin and Gwynevere act as the "final" choice in almost every matter. Between their continued efforts in guiding Midir, Gwynevere and Gwyndolin mostly keep to themselves, meditating in a more hidden location in Nokron, or overseeing the clan on their perch in Nokstella. Sometimes, Gwynevere enjoys taking leave down to the river in the Siofra Grove, often inviting a passerby to come join her. |
