 Dawnlight was a whirlwind of a hatchling, always off, far from the other hatchlings and their minders. She never really fit in however, she wasn’t an egg from a clutch, she was from and egg that was found and brought back to the clan and raised as one of their own, though from an early age she felt a strong call, an urge to return to where her egg came from. To return to the Sunbeam Ruins, maybe that’s where her charge was. She left one day, never to return to her birth clan and though she would miss them, she knew she would never belong, that she was needed elsewhere in Sornieth. The impressive Guardian ended up in Light Territory, though still nothing more than a gangly teenager she settled. Building herself a meager lair near the cliffs that touch the ocean. The deep yearning in her chest didn’t quieten however and everyday she would go searching, desperate to find the thing that she was made to protect. As she grew and as she continued to go out looking for her charge she would come upon other dragons in need and she would always step into help and offer them a place at her lair. Soon, what started as just a clan of one was now a clan of many. A growing, thriving clan that all looked to her for advice. Dawnlight found that the her yearning was less now, she had found her charge. Her charge was her clan, all the dragons she looked after and protected and the life that they have created for themselves. Dawnlight is a kind and generous matriarch. Frequently going to each of her clan members lairs to visit and simply chat with them and to the hatchery to play with the hatchlings and help care for them. There are few dragons that she does not get along with and the only one that ever seems to give her any trouble is Eclipse, who will not a malevolent guardian is simply one with a rebellious streak who enjoys pushing her limits with what Dawnlight will handle. The great matriarch has taken it upon herself to teach her clan how to fight and care for themselves if they ever needed it, she too is by no means a master and continues to train and test herself, preferring to use what she was born with, her teeth and her claws she has now however ventured into more elemental training, tapping into the energy inside her to use against her enemies, though frequently takes rest to play fight with her Ursa. Though she doesn’t spend all her time training them just to fight, Dawnlight enjoys taking Eclipse out on their own and off the cliffs. Wanting to teach the other Guardian how to dive and swim deep in the ocean. Having taken Eclipse under her wing, wishing to keep the younger guardian interested in life with the clan and wishing to teach her ways to help contribute. The dark guardian, though with all the platonic love from her clan members has no romantic love, having only briefly had a fling with Tundra who has since left the clan and a large kind Imperial- Theoden whom visited from the Tangled Woods, though that was more of a political affair than a romantic one. Dawnlight has one remaining daughter- Moira. Who returned with her father Theoden to the Tangled Woods after she hatched, Dawnlight misses her daughter but knows she is in good hands. Despite being without romance she is happy. She has her charge- her clan. Her life is full and she is never allowed a moments rest, and that’s just how she enjoys it.
