Biography
Kharenis was truly the best of his parents. Evgenis gave him her sunny optimism, and Khary bequeathed his might and sense of duty. Kharenis grew up beloved, and certain of his place in the world.
As he grew, Khary taught him the healing powers and the empathy that he had also inherited, and prepared him for when his parents would leave. For Khary knew his mate, and he knew that Evgenis loved traveling and seeing the world. So, when Evgenis finally decided she needed to move on, Khary was prepared.
Kharenis bade his parents and their companions well, and turned to managing the clan. He flew scouting missions, defended his clan from the beast clans, and searched for wandering or hurt dragons. So, it was not unusual when he brought home a tiny Tundra, only odd how deferential he was to her. Of course, it did not take long for the others in the clan to realize he'd been struck by the Guardian Blessing. He'd found his purpose.
Some among the clan were shocked. Saccharo was not a sweet, sunny creature like his mother. She was fierce, a warrior herself. But she sang, and when she sang, all became warriors.
Kharenis had fallen in love with a bard, and the clan prospered for it.
