K O D I A K, the storm rider Too many sharks, not enough blood in the waves. ╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ ==The tempest rolls in, and the waves rumble to a halt against the shore, the ferocity behind them churning white froth up onto the sand, but this is only a mere whisper when compared to the waves out on the open waters, where the dark clashes and harmonizes, destroying or bolstering, the size and force of the roiling masses enough to compete with the power of a god. That is where Kodiak can most often be found, among the raw forces of the sea and the sky, at home among the warring of two godly elements, the thrill in it something that not many could handle. Kodi rides the waves, be it of the sky with his own wings, or the surf with a board of his own making; after all, it takes a pretty spectacular board to handle the ocean's untamed tides, and that board would, of course, require something to keep it moving just as fast as the waves, lest it be overrun. That something is a small but powerful mana engine. Kodiak's board functions like so: a strip of electricity conducting material running down the central area of the board, where his feet would be, connecting to and powering the engine itself. Because Kodi can pinpoint-discharge at any part of his body, there is no need for a battery or anything of the like, as he powers the engine of his own will through his feet. Thus, Kodi has precise and perfect control over how much output the engine gives, and if needed, he can easily jet out of the way of any unwanted situation. Of course, just because he can, doesn't mean he will. Kodiak almost always prefers to battle it out himself rather than give the board a jolt of energy, and while the glowing blue efflorescent trail the engine leaves is pretty when looking back, it is just as tiring to give it such a boost of energy as it is to simply work it out himself. ━━━━━━━━━━━
