PERSONALITY & BACKSTORY

Trusting and loyal, Ryo is committed to her role as a Warrior. She takes it seriously, and with much dignity. Her friends can agree that she is hardworking, even in tough situations, and won't back out of fight if it's to save someone.

Of course, she's not all serious. When she's not working, she'll be taking care of the snake familiars, reading a good book, or relaxing in the zen garden. Ryo has a soft side as well, and this is noticeable when she's around hatchlings, animals, and especially her mate.

Sadly, Ryo is deeply insecure - though you wouldn't notice at first glance. She is anxious around leaders and diplomats, and sometimes freezes up because of the doubts she has about herself. Troubles and fears from her past haunt still haunt her, and some days she can't work at all because of it. Ryo tries her best to perform the best she can with this problem - even though she knows that the Great Two wouldn't mind if she took breaks from her work. Still, her loyalty is strong, so she feels the need to serve them.

Katsu and Ryo didn't love each other at first - Warriors and Fighters in the Clan aren't supposed to interact much, unless nessasary. But once the Clan was fighting the war with the Longnecks, there were frequent patrols the two classes needed to go on. The more times Ryo spent around Katsu, the more she realized how much they were alike. They used to sneak out at night to talk and visit with each other, right before their work. Eventually, Ryo confessed her growing fondess for him, and they have been together ever since. The majority of the Clan accepts them, though most perfer that the classes would not join again.
