Twin Rose Tavern: A lovely tavern, well established within the sprawling capital city of The Heartlands, though hidden well from those who are not meant to find it. The owner and head bartender of the establishment is Deathmourner, along with her adopted daughter Meadowfrost. The drinks are cold, the food hearty, and the work passed around there is underhanded and dirty. Deathmourner and Meadowfrost used to go by different names many years ago in a distant corner of the Fire Flight; Rosethorn and Lovecrack. Assassins and thieves for hire, they were some of the best the Fire Flight had to offer, names becoming known enough to be whispered among the seedy underbelly of the Underglow. They used to be a trio, not a duo, but after a startling betrayal that led to a horribly failed job, they now only have each other. Deathmourner was permanently injured by the ordeal, and they had to flee the authorities, ending up in The Heartlands. Due to her injuries, Deathmourner could no longer do the dirty work herself, so she became an informant and turned her tavern into a 'job board' of sorts for illegal work that people wanted to hire for. It's now a know meetup spot for all shady dragons passing through, though even with all the unsavoury characters fights are few and far between. Perhaps it is because Deathmourner and Meadowfrost's reputation still holds strong all these years later... (Meadowfrost also owns a casino nearby in an underground cave system) (...aaaannnd Ansgar and the rest of the Plague dragons in this tab actually have their own huge separate story taking place in Plague, and only start mingling with my current lore wayyy down the line, so they don't really belong in the Tavern tab right now |

Ex-Assassin/Tavern Owner/Informant
Went by the name 'Rosethorn' during her prime, now goes by Deathmourner (her given name) after her and Meadowfrost (her adopted daughter) had to flee their last place of 'work'. Is part of the crime ring/black market of the Fire Flight, the 'Underglow'. The Twin Rose Tavern is her pride and joy, and while she loves serving up high quality drinks and food, she also loves how her business provides the perfect cover to conduct her...less legal business.
