Dragon Lore
Nocturne is an adventurous and compassionate dragon who is often interested in the work of others. She views the sky as a second home and it's a running joke that she seems more like a wind dragon than an ice dragon. Whenever she isn't working, the skydancer spends her time performing tricks in the sky for the entertainment of the hatchlings or watching her mate work on armor. While she doesn't have any magic, her ability to be unaffected by the temperature and weather is unique to her alone.

Originally from an ice clan who lived within Snowsquall Tundra of the Southern Icefield, Nocturne grew up living in the frigid cold. As a hatchling, she was taught how to adapt to any weather so that she can fly and see without a problem. By the time she was a full grown adult, she was the best flyer of her clan. No matter the weather, the skydancer found herself able to fly as if it was a clear and sunny day.

After a year with her original clan, she left to find adventure in a new land. While flying above the Ashfall Waste, the woman met a blacksmith by the name of Tarnished. Though he lived in the Emberglow Hearth, he spent his time working in the Molten Scar due to the abundance of rare metals and minerals. Intrigued by the way he was able to make armor and weapons out of seemingly nothing, she spent time by his side in hopes of learning. Soon enough, the two fell in love and became mates who stay within the lands of the Flamecaller.

Nocturne's role in the clan is to make sure that the skies stay safe. Whenever there are dangerous dragons or wild monsters in the area, she is the first to inform the others of their presence. With her help, the clan is always prepared for any fight that comes their way. She's often able to see approaching storms as well so that they can take cover whenever there is dangerous weather.

Familiar Lore
While Nocturne is more mature, Citsela is still rather childish in nature. She often spends time with the hatchlings when she isn't on patrol with her companion. Citsela loves playing hide-and-seek with the little ones and she's often the one to initiate a game. Once in a while, she'll help teach some of the hatchlings who stuggle with flying.

Citsela is a blackwing croaker who has been by Nocturne's side since she left theSouthern Icefield. Citsela grew up within the cold waters of the ocean, though she was usually spending her time swimming through the small cracks in the ice. Though she didn't grow up with the dragon, the creature wanted to leave the cold waters of her home to go somewhere warmer. Together, the two grew close as they traveled the world together.
