Baltasar was born in Fire, literally. The molten bath of his nest was hotter than most, and as he broke through his egg the nest ignited into a massive conflagration. The center of the flames reached temperatures hot enough to melt glass, which Baltasar discovered the moment he made his way out of the egg. Everywhere around him surfaced glowing, multicoloured droplets, each refracting and reflecting the light in myriad ways. The prismatic effect was magical, and he felt bonded to it. Glassblowing is in his blood. His ability to withstand magma-temperature heat set him apart from the clan in which he was born. Even his parents were slightly fearful of him, and as he grew into dragonhood he was shunned by everyone. He decided to leave his clan, and set off to new territories. He eventually ended his search in Light, where he was welcomed by a clan called the Enclave, where he happily serves as official glassblower. He creates everything from giant, ornate windows of multicoloured glass, to small trinkets, potion bottles, glassware and ornaments. He is well-loved by the clan, and teaches glassblowing to anyone who has the desire to learn.
