- his old clan came from Arcane and settled in Shadow just before he was born
- he loves the spooky and eerie atmosphere of the brambles
- he was afraid that his clan would move again so when he was old enough he left so that he could find a clan that would stay in Shadow forever
- his cute and innocent look made him a target for bandits
- but before anything bad happened to him he came across Demogorgon
- the Fae had just come back from an execution
- you think that a bloodied, hooded Fae dragging an equally bloodied cleaver would scare someone
- Oliver did the opposite and followed him
- Demo didn't hurt him since he looked so harmless so he took him back to the clan
- it did weird him out that the Coatl looked more excited than fearful that he was covered in blood

- he's super happy and pretty childish
- but he's more lovable than annoying
- also loves all things cute and creepy
- Vincent made him eye ribbons and matching laces to cater to his aesthetic
- Oliver was so happy he spent the entirety of that day showing off his new outfit to everyone

- literally parading everywhere
- as thanks he helps Vincent in his clothes designs whenever he needs it
- pretty good friends with Honey, since they're both into fashion
- also likes bothering Elijah a lot since he's a ghost
- also interested in Enigma but the dark Coatl's always in the throne room and he can't just go in there willy nilly

- Oliver doesn't scare easy so he likes wandering the deeper, darker parts of the brambles often
- he can't fend for himself though so whenever he goes exploring he has to have someone with him
- Sasha's usually the one accompanying the Coatl
- the mirror tried to bully him when he first came to the clan
- but he failed
- how can he bully someone who's all smiles 24/7
- Oliver actually became attached to Sasha and likes spending time with him
- good thing his bad attitude doesn't influence him
- Sasha likes him too, much to everyone's surprise
- basically Oliver's made Sasha question his sexuality
- they honestly just look like really good friends/brothers
