Stag

"Every star in the sky is a fallen warrior looking down at us," Stag can often be heard saying in his sermons to the dead. He is the keeper of the tombs, crumbling behind the castle. Many nameless, ageless dragons rest there, as do new souls from Clan Northstar.

He gently whispers hymns and prayers to the fallen, keeping their spirits at peace so they do not curse or haunt the living. The imperial even leaves what flowers, berries and sprigs of evergreen he can find out in the mountains for the dead.

Stag has reclaimed the ancient temple within the graveyard, and recreated it into a dark and magical cathedral once again. Inside everything glitters with gold and fire. One can spend nearly all day trying to understand the story in the stained glass.

He comforts the grieving and lays rest the dead in grand ceremonies dedicated to their prowess and success. Even a humble baker is made a king here. Stag feels it's important to give thanks to the energy and life taken from each dragon.

When all is well in Clan Northstar, and the fallen are few are far between, Stag can be found studying the energies of the universe, as he believes all energy lives on ... in one form or another.
