VIRIDANT
The Hunter

Viridant originally hailed from a small, nondescript clan. The clan was located in the southernmost reaches of the Driftwood Drag, right on the border with the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and as a result had a lot of interactions and trading with clans of other flights, especially Water. This was an environment that promoted many things, several of which Viridant adopted, such as a hard work ethic and honesty.

As she matured, she began to grow more curious about the rest of the Tangled Wood, and eventually decided to leave her birth clan to explore. Her travels in through the Wood eventually took her to a small clan led by a blind Mirror named Asulas. Viridant decided to stay with them for a while, helping out with the hunting and even producing several nests with some of the members. When the last of her hatchlings had grown up, however, she decided it was time to move on, and left with the clans' blessing to continue her travels.

The lessons Viridant learned in her birth clan have served her well, both when alone and when part of a clan. With an eye for fairness and a "get it done" attitude, she makes a good mediator and motivator for getting chores done. However, she has a tendency to take things seriously, and can get especially annoyed by dragons who joke around while on the job.

Viridant was going to wake the Skydancer when something caught her attention. There, in the distance, a gloomwillow guide peered at her from the darkness. Seeing that the mirror had spotted it, it flitted off. Getting the sense that the she should pursue, the shadow dragon followed the creature through the darkness of the wood. After some pursuit the mirror found the guide circling around a Pearlcatcher. The Pearlcatcher looked at the other shadow dragon when the mirror stepped into the small clearing.

"hello."

"What do you want?" the mirror said, slightly snappy. She didn't trust this Pearlcatcher with dancing flames and glowing claws.

"im here to give you a new life."

"What are you talking about? I just got a new life," Viridant retorted. The Pearlcatcher shook her head.

"not anymore." the gloomwillow guide perched on the mirror's back. "i implore you to follow me."

The mirror was suspicious, but had a strange feeling that the Pearlcatcher was right. Shadowlings wouldn't lie to each other, would they?

Her fighting prowess was noted, and soon she joined Vladislava and Dravite in the Coliseum. Her time battling changed her appearance. The patterns on her scales shifted to show her ferocity, and Viridant is not afraid to flaunt her new look.

When not busy fighting with beastclan, Viridant hunts for food for the clan to keep her fellow meat eaters satiated.
