Azubah | Everyone's Granny Hatchling Sitter

Azubah decided to open a nursery where parents can drop their hatchlings off while they're busy. Astelle agreed that this was a great idea, as she remembered how Malyah could be quite a pawful when she was a hatchling. Azubah was excited to lay her First Clutch. She felt that the arrival of offspring would give her life more meaning. To her joy, Bora and she were lucky enough to lay five eggs, but that night, Bora asked to speak with her. His sister Esinti and her mate Elaji had also laid a nest that day. Bora explained to her that Esinti had always wanted offspring of her own, just as Azubah had. The only problem was, Esinti only laid one egg. Azubah remembered that one hatchling from each dragon's First Clutch had to be exalted, which meant Esinti would have to give up her only hatchling. Filled with compassion, Azubah suggested that Bora and she offer to exalt an additional hatchling in place of the one Esinti and Elaji were expected to provide. Though she was reluctant to lose another hatchling, she knew she would've felt the same as Esinti if she had only laid one egg. When she saw that Edward and Krystal returned from a NotN coli expedition with a bogsneak puppet, she knew the hatchlings would love it. Though initially terrified by them, the puppet is now practically inseparable from the hatchlings. The puppet's name is Nesbit. He likes tea parties, even though his arm tends to mysteriously fall off during them. |
