Luna hatched in her firey childhood home — the depths of hell, which isn't where you'd expect to find such a serene blue girl. That it — until you look into those firey orange eyes, when you realize you've met the devil of the sea on Earth.

Hell was a lonely place for Luna, she'd always wonder what was beyond and wish to leave. She'd look for escapes, build escapes and tunnels around her room when she was off shift, and just have fun with the idea of freedom. But then she did find an escape. What was normally a one-way exit for tortured souls, was apparently two-way for any staff.

Luna escaped hell, and it was liberating, so liberating, in fact, that she completely forgot about any consequences she'd get. Her Lord was not happy.

All Luna had ever wanted since that day, was to escape hell, and she got it, but not for long. The Lord gave Luna her wish after realizing she wouldn't do much in hell anymore. She'd only try to escape more, so it would be less trouble to kick her out.

And so, he threw her out and replaced her lungs with gills.

Luna had to scramble to the sea for her life, and thankfully she was close to it. The sea was gorgeous and blue, and vaster than she'd imagined, just like the sky. But, it took a long time for her to find her home.

Luna eventually found Eilen just leaving her clan to deliver something. Elien quickly brought the spiral to safety to her clan.

The first thing she discovered there were the nesting grounds, young Theo was sitting by one of his first clutches, and he was looking bored just sitting by the eggs, as exciting as parenting was. Luna knew the feeling well, and sat beside him. They made conversation for hours and became good friends quickly.
