Fallen to a nasty illness during her travels and abandoned by her peers for believing her condition untreatable she lost it all.

Delirious and barely strong enough to crawl she sought solace under the shadow of an alien tree. She was barely able to register the strange pulsations of its twisted roots or the fleshy appendages that stretched out sensing her heat.

"This plant is trying to eat me" She mused out loud upon realizing that those tendril-like vines were trying to wrap her shape, coaxed by the weakness they sensed on her.
