tumblr_ns5subPqpO1uwq352o9_250.png Lachesis embodies the Present, the anchor, the solid foundation from which her sisters rest and seek solace from and the base from which they reach out and grow. A guardian, her potential for magic was not as great as her sisters, resting at manipulating shadows. Yet, her ingenuity allows her to utilise them to their fullest potential.

Using her shadows as spies, she can infiltrate and learn secrets from a safe distance, or even creating the minuteness of changes that amass into a strong advantage before the battle even begins. Darkness shields her and her sisters from attacks and failing that, she falls back on her prowess in physical combat.

The Shadow Sisters

The Shadow Sisters, as they are called, were hatched in the shadow of a lunar eclipse. Where other hatchlings' first forays into magic were bright coloured sparks, they manipulated the shadows.

As they matured, the sisters' curiosity in the origins of their powers grew for despite their arcane eyes, they could see how different they were from the others. As soon as their parents allowed, they journeyed to the Shadow Flight, seeking knowledge and teaching that the clan was unable to provide.

What they found was that their powers were a hybrid of Arcane and Shadow; not belonging entirely to one or the other. Unable to find a suitable teacher, they returned home, disapointed but determined to hone and utilise their magic.

tumblr_ns5subPqpO1uwq352o1_250.png Names hold power and when they returned, they took on new names to protect their old. From then on, they focused on developing and researching their powers with the help of their mother and teacher, Dreamwalker.

Tightly bonded from their experiences, the two faes are often found perching on the guardian's back. The sisters rarely leave each other's sides and only for short periods when necessary.

Curious and inquisitive yet ruthless when needed, the sisters are fiercely loyal to family and by extension, the clan. Their control of the shadows allows them to collect intrigue and information for the clan. In this, they aid the Librarians in searching for obscure pieces of knowledge. Subtle yet deadly, they are sometimes sent on covert missions to gather knowledge from otherwise unwilling hands.
