Jaded eyes survey the world, a kindling of spite flutters in the heart before being extinguished in a wing beat by the steady rhythm of resigned apathy.

Not a cruel soul, not a bad soul, just a very tired one.

Acantha came to Arda looking for something new. She felt she needed a new home. She wanted to feel excited again. Arda welcomed her with open arms. She quickly assumed her place as the trainer of all who wished to fight. Mairon, queen of Arda, was in awe of her skills, and took private lessons with Acantha in secret. They quickly forged a friendship unlike any Mairon had so far experienced. Acantha had so much experience, had lived so much. Although she still sometimes has bouts of melancholy, everyone in Arda does their best to make her happy and to feel loved. They listen to her, and her opinions and suggestions are listened to and often implemented for the good of Arda.
