David, being the youngest, was quite lucky that he got to choose whether he wanted to follow his mother or his father's teachings. He, however, chose neither and both, occasionally dabbling in swordplay or mannerisms but never fully committing to either, much to his parents' dismay. David remains very laid back, enjoying the luxurious life of being a royal on a peaceful island, but also yearns for something more. After being taught to read, he stuck to books of tales from adventurers and began writing stories of his own, hoping one day he would be able to fulfill the adventures he wrote of. When the opportunity to travel to the realm of Sornieth presented itself, he wasted no time packing his pens and papers, seeking to document his own adventure next.
