Often considered something akin to the "soul" of the clan, Puck's music and poetry are very significant to the other dragons in the lair. After growing up in the Mirrorlight Promenade, Puck struck out to find somewhere he could truly call home. For a good while, he travelled rather aimlessly from lair to lair telling the great stories and poems and songs of the world to get by. While staying in a lair close to his hatching place, this clan was visited by wind merchants bringing a delivery of sky lanterns, and after a few days he was approached by a shy guardian who declared his charge was Puck's music and poetry. Since he had no attachments - and was very curious of this guardian - he returned to the Reedcliff Ascent with the merchants. He settled in very easily as the clan's minstrel, although he still visits other lairs with his travelling companion Riordan the harpy.

Puck is a lively and slightly boisterous character, always full of energy and cheeky remarks. He is often more than a little pleased with himself, but does really have a sense of humility under the mask he puts out. His arts, optimism and general cheery atmosphere have picked up many a dragon in need in his time, and is greatly appreciated by the other clan members. His tender side is brought out by his mate Leonardo, of whom he thinks the world of.
