"A quiet life is all I ask of the Windsinger." Familiar ~ Eremite ~ |
Contrary to one’s first impression of Eldritch, he is not a grouchy dragon. He prefers solitude, but not out of dislike or hatred; he simply finds it difficult to socialize, often having no idea how to behave around others. He tends to be distrustful of those outside of the clan, but will not attack or threaten outsides unless he has good reason to be suspicious. He prefers solitude as he is one of the very few Mirrors in the clan, though he appreciates Taranis’s company when hunting. He also spends a fair amount of time with Knell, but as battle companions rather than friends. Biography Eldritch was one of the first dragons to join the clan. He met Cyroliph and Arghon during a dangerous period when many Beastclan patrols were wandering the area. At this time, Cyroliph was guarding their first nest and Arghon was physically incapable of moving, making it impossible for either dragon to forage for food. Taking pity on the two, Eldritch offered to gather food for the clan in exchange for peace and protection. He refuses to say much about his past (“What happens now matters much more.”). He has mentioned that he was tired of having to fight to survive, which is why he wished to join a clan that valued peace and co-operation. Unfortunately, he becomes bored easily and is unable to completely abandon his aggressive nature. He fights for the clan in the Coliseum as a way to let off steam. |

Asexual - Not open to new mates
“I'm not interested in mating. Sorry.”
Mate to Taranis
“Yes, we are.”
Taranis is one of the few dragons Eldritch genuinely enjoys spending time with. It helps that Taranis tends to mimic Eldritch’s behaviour (as Nocturnes do), providing the eremite with the closest he can get to the company of another, like-minded Mirror. Still, Taranis strikes a good balance between sharing Eldritch’s values and being a cheerful, encouraging companion when the two are out in the field.
No close family | Close friends: Knell and Tanren
