Eriso has always been fascinated by history. After joining the clan, this Imperial took up the task of researching the genealogy of various clan members. When he learned about the mysteries that shrouded Arslan's past, he became extremely focused on finding his ancestry — almost to the point of obsession. He is proud to say that his efforts paid off, though, as he eventually succeeded in uncovering the tundra's origin. Now he is helping Krystal research her family tree in a search to explain her odd powers. They believe it might be related to her skydancer ancestors. Little does anyone know, but Eriso has transformed his buttercup-edged claw into a pen nib (AN: because, honestly that's what I thought it was at first. A calligraphy nib.) He uses it to scribble his notes down in his various journals. Upon the discovery of the Flametail Serthis Clan, he has been eager to join a coliseum party in order to converse with the Loremasters and archivists. He couldn't possibly pass up an opportunity to learn more about the history of this culture first-hand. He eventually became acquainted with a Serthis Archivist named Abel Pastor Cartis. He prefers to be called Abel.
