-imp parent turned into part of an emperor when their clan was slaughtered by a large beast clan
-he barely made it out with his life and had to fend for himself while growing up and that made him bitter toward beastclans in general.
-he used to try to distance himself from his imp heritage as much as he could, going so far as to break off his own horns but the longer he's stayed in niefhel the more comfortable he's become with being himself
-captain of the guard and is enamored with the castle guardian
-sort of gruff and impersonal most of the time. Avoids others when he can.
-Secret: he blames himself for his imp parent's death and has nightmares about becoming part of an emperor when he dies. He's terrified of letting people too close because everyone he comes to care about he loses. This leads him to pushing other people away in a selfless and selfish way at the same time, selfless because he wants them to stay safe, selfish because he doesn't want to go through the pain of losing them.
-either he has to learn to work with beast clans, or stop blaming himself for his parent's death. He's early to mid 20s, but very strong. He earned his position himself.
