Wiggins is Oogi's assistant and trusted companion. He helps scribble down notes and helps keep things cool. Though his mind is full of thoughts he's not much of a talker.

BloodedBlade wandered through the battlefields, looking for bodies. The dead always had the most interesting germs and fungi growing on them. Sometimes he would find what looked like an Emperor, and he shuddered. Even the Plaguebringer herself would find herself challenged by the sheer power of those fused-together Imperials.

He heard a noise, and raised a paw, a vial of virulent disease in his claws. In the few occasions he’d had to fight, he relied on throwing what he called “infection-grenades” and running. He couldn’t command the most powerful Plague magics without lengthy rituals, so he made sure he was prepared for instant response.

He looked around, his sensitive Fae membranes twitching as he searched for the source of the noise. It wasn’t easy, it was quiet and muffled, as though beneath the earth. He eventually came to the realization that the body of a huge Imperial (although thankfully not an Emperor, couldn’t ever be sure when those things were actually dead) on top of the noise’s source.

As he used simple telekinesis to move the Imperial’s body, he beheld a small burrow dug into the dirt. Even for a Fae, it was small. He kept his infection-grenade in his hand, ready to toss it and run if this was some Beastclan creature.

He looked down, and beheld a Fae hatchling. Hatchlings had no place on the battlefields of the Exalted. Even though he didn’t either, it still irritated him. He may not be an Exalted, but at least he had the capability of surviving. A hatchling wasn’t a fighter, not by any means.

He studied the hatchling. If it was Light, he would infect it anyway. Nothing he despised more than Light dragons. Besides his parents. They were alright. He could see in its eyes, though, that it was a Wind dragon. He sighed explosively, and put away his vial. He reached out to the hatchling, and shakily, it took his hand.

“Tell me your name, young one.” “Don’t call me that.” “I don’t know what else to call you at the moment.” “Oogi. My name is Oogi.” BloodedBlade nodded. “Oogi it is. What are you doing here? Who would send a hatchling to fight?” They seemed to lift their arms, viewing their wings and claws. They frowned. “You’re not just a big Fae, are you?” “No, actually I’m pretty small. Why do you ask?”

The hatchling shook their head before saying “They didn’t send a hatchling. My name is Oogi, and I was one of the Matriarchs of my lair. Then, when I was sent to another clan as permanent diplomatic liaison, I was put in chains, and marched to the Battle of the Exalted. What happened to me?”

Blade tilted his head. “What happened to you?” “I… I don’t know. I think I saw an Arcane dragon, and they fired off a spell. I ducked and burrowed, but I think I still got hit by a wash of the spell’s effects. Which were, apparently this.” She gestured to her immature form.

Blade nodded. “I think I understand. Where is your clan? You certainly can’t fight in your current state.” “I remember where they are, sort of… It’s been so long, you have to understand. But surely you have heard of the Clan of The Lost World?” “Hmm. I can search my clan’s archives, but I can’t promise anything.”

Oogi accompanied Blade back to his lair. It was a creepy place, with an even split of dragons who worshiped Arcane and ones who worshiped Plague. There was a bit of tension, but still, all of the dragons seemed amicable.

Finally, in a dusty tome, Blade found the location of the Clan of The Lost World. Not surprisingly, with a name like that, it was in the Shadow domain. They left that same day, stealthily wandering through the Shadow domain. It was harrowing, but they managed it. She saw the entrance to the cave chamber, and memories came crashing back – returning from exploration and gathering, visiting other clans, talking to her good friend Mist and joining in with the Shadow dragons in the lair in playing pranks on visiting dragons.

Unable to stop, she started crying. Ever since she had been forced into the Battle, she’d always assumed that she would only see her lair again as a spirit, and she had only hoped that her friends would be happy, and that they weren’t missing her too badly. She was home, though, and as the opposite of what she expected – a hatchling! Blade had managed to find a reversal for the spell, but all it did was ensure she would age normally; it didn’t return her to her former age.

She’d be lucky if anyone recognized her, in her current state. She knew that she could convince them. Windsinger knows, she collaborated with all of her clanmates on one prank or another. She healed many of them during her stay when they were fighting in the coliseum. But she could feel that she wasn’t as strong as she used to be. She hoped that it wouldn’t be held against her.

She looked back at Blade one more time, and he just smiled and gestured towards her lair. He leaned forward and patter her on the back. “It’s alright, my friend. They’ll remember you.” She smiled. There was no way that he could know that, but she appreciated his encouragement anyway. He pressed a glowing stone into her hand. “You’re only the second one who has this, but by saying my name into this stone, I will come as fast as I can. Alright?” She nodded, and gripped the stone tightly.

Walking into the cave, she waited at the proper distance for a returning dragon to await recognition by their clan – much closer than any visitor would walk before stopping, simply for courtesy’s sake. She hoped that her intentions wouldn’t be misinterpreted. She was shaking with sheer emotion, the fear of not being recognized manifesting as a burning pain in her chest.

A dragon walked out. She was clinging to the wall, her magic glowing with fervor. Oogi felt her heart rise as she recognized the dragon, who was bigger than her now. “Moon!” She couldn’t help but cry out. She ran forward, her small arms reaching out to hug the Fae.

Moon blinked, obviously in disbelief. “Oogi? I… I thought you were gone. Exalted.” “Moon, it’s… It’s a long story. And it’s one that I will tell everyone. But the important thing now is I’m here. I’m home.” Moon picked her up and carried her into the cave chamber, raising one claw to magically ring the bell that was only used to call clan assemblies.

“It’s okay, Oogi. You’re home. You’re back. And you’ll never have to leave again.”

My clan welcomed me back, happy that I was okay. I am well, aging normally. BloodedBlade, I have kept him in my heart as a friend, and I hope to seem him again.
Being a representative again is scary and I fear the same thing will happen again, but my belief in others far outshines my doubt. If your clan would ever like to be an associate to Clan of Passers, please send me a letter!
