Revel used to be a top chemist at the laboratory, but after an accident where the clan leader, Anima, was injured near fatally she receded into herself and began work as a scholar, spending her days locked away in a study writing and reading. Most dragons stay away from her, thinking her to be a freak kept around only out of pity, but in fact the leaders of the laboratory know that she is one of the most promising chemists of their century. She is plagued by chronic insomnia and anxiety, but is always accompanied by her faithful (if sometimes cranky) Lightning Sprite, Sebastian.
