Leota

Leota is a real rough and tumble gal with a toothy grin just as striking as her bright yellow stripes. She works with Fredrick as an engineer, helping to repair all the machinery that inevitably breaks down around the caravan. Though a member of the dainty wind flight by birth, her heart lies in the down to earth vocations of tinkering and metallurgy. A day without a few added grease stains to her feathers is not one she considers worth committing to memory. Needless to say, her brilliant plumage is often obscured with dark smudging garnered from her work.

Leota is one of Myles' many girlfriends and is pretty physical about her affection. If you ever see Myles covered in sooty paw prints, the you know Leota has visited recently. Her favorite thing is to ruffle Myles' head feathers, inevitably mussing her coiffure and leaving a dark patch that is near impossible to wash out.

One of Leota's biggest quirks is that she can never seem to stop talking. She can often be spotted 'talking shop' long into the night with her caiman friend. Even though the creature doesn't understand a word of the coatl's babble, it seems to love the attention.
