Miir

Miir lived most of her life content, but never quite satisfied. She had a strong sense of loyalty to her clan, and performed her duties diligently, but never found the happiness and passion she wished for.
When Miir encountered Indigo and Atrux struggling to form their own clan, she willingly joined them. Miir played a key role in raising Cyla and Feilis, and after a short time, fell in love with and mated to Atrux.
Miir and Atrux were happy for a short time, and enjoyed the adventure of building a clan together. Miir experienced a passion for life, and was glad she chose to leave her previous clan and her previous, unfulfilling life.
Miir and Atrux had one daughter, named Nalis. Miir cared for her intensely, but didn't quite understand her reserved daughter. Nalis was frustrated by her mother's high standards of kindness and generosity, and distanced herself from Miir. Miir was heartbroken as she sensed her daughter slipping away from her, and attempted to convince Atrux, who Nalis was closer to, to help repair their damaged relationship. Atrux made a couple half-hearted attempts, but Miir and Nalis never mended their broken bond.
Miir felt the rift between her and Nalis also separating herself from Atrux, so she became clingy and overzealous in a frantic attempt to save their relationship. Her efforts had an adverse effect, however, and only succeeded in her losing Atrux completely.
Heartbroken, Miir involved herself deeply in her work, caring for the young hatchlings. She doused Feilis with affection, and the younger dragon became like a daughter to her. Miir's relationship with Feilis remains rather overprotective, as she is determined not to lose another daughter.
Miir briefly experienced love again with Calun, a fellow Skydancer. She bore many nests of eggs, fearing that if she only had one child again, she would lose both the hatchling and Calun. Eventually, Miir's feelings for Calun faded, and they simply drifted apart.
Miir has found peace with her situation, but has also found herself in the same situation as she experienced in her old clan. Miir is caring and committed, and fulfills her role with pride, but isn't completely satisfied, and hasn't experienced true happiness since her family fell apart.
